Digbee ESG Certified

The Digbee ESG Certified emblem is a strictly licensed and managed mark, awarded to mining companies that have satisfactorily disclosed their ESG activities at both corporate and project level via the Digbee ESG platform.

Emblem holders have submitted to an independent and impartial assessment by ESG specialists thus demonstrating a serious commitment and internal culture geared towards ESG.

The frameworks:
Digbee's ESG frameworks have been rigorously designed, iterated, tested and endorsed by a consortium of advisors, consultants and stakeholders from the ESG, risk management, mining and financial worlds.

They are designed specifically for the mining industry to be:

• Right-sized: different frameworks for different mine stages (i.e. exploration, development and producing)
• Future-looking: focus on what the company is doing right now and their plans for the future
• Aligned to global standards: our frameworks map to ~24 existing standards (GRI, SASB, ICMM, IRMA etc)
• A tool for real change: in the boardroom and on the ground

The scoring:
Submissions are reviewed and assessed by ESG experts using a robust and standardised scoring methodology to ensure a fair and impartial assessment. The score and emblem remain valid for 12 months from date of last disclosure, thus encouraging continued transparency and ability to see a company's progress in ESG over time.
